The Pro-Tech Malibu Flipper is one of the smoothest-functioning button lock knives on the market, functioning on ball bearings, and easily used with one hand, this guy shoots out its stonewashed CPM 20CV reverse tanto blade with a slight flick of the flipper tab. While open, that same flipper tab acts as a finger guard in a full-hand grip, and as a place to put your index when needing to choke up for extra leverage. An inauspicious choil makes it a bit easier to touch up the edge when needed. 

To close up the knife, all that's needed is a push of a button, and the blade drop-shuts right back into its 6061-T6 aluminum handle. The scales on this model are black and have been given a snake skin-like texturing for superb grip. This guy comes with its original black right-handed tip-up pocket clip, as well as the original packaging including plastic and felt pouches and original box. 

This specific Pro-Tech Malibu Flipper has been carried, used, and sharpened. The previous owner actually put a nice looking mirror polish on the edge which gives the stonewashed blade a bit of extra flair. It was difficult to get the pictures of the mirror polish in the light box, so be sure to take a look at the outside pictures and/or videos included. Other than that, the blade looks pretty exceptional other than a small vertical line on the non-beveled top section of the clip side of the blade (this may be from the original stonewashing and is hardly noticeable. The handle looks great other than a small nick in the spine near the entrance to the open-backed section. The pocket clip has the slightest bit of wear, only noticeable when looking very close. All-in-all, other than the mirror polish, I would give this Malibu a 9.5 in "brand new-ess".
