Designed by the ever-famous knife mind Bob Terzuola, this Fox Knives-made knife is functional, gorgeous, and timeless all at the same time. Even if a wooden-handled knife isn’t your forte, you’d be lying in saying that this knife isn’t absolutely stunning. Characterized by its smooth rich-grain Bocote wood handle scales, the FX-525B gives off classic vibes while tying in some modern design cues.

First off, a Terzuola-style thumb disc allows for easy one-hand opening of this guy, while a stainless steel liner lock offers tons of dependability and strength while making it super easy to close back up with the same hand. Perfected contouring of the handles make the knife super comfortable in hand, while slight jimping on the spine and liner paired with the thumb disc allow you to choke up behind your 3.5” blade. An open-backed design makes it a simple clean-up after use. The drop point blade on this FX-525B model is finished satin and made with Bohler N690Co stainless steel, offering great edge retention and resistance to corrosion.

I’m fairly unfamiliar with Fox Knives edges, so it’s hard to estimate how sparingly this knife was used throughout its life. There aren’t any visible nicks or anything in the grind, but it is definitely possible that it was sharpened, but again I can’t say for sure. The blade bevels are unblemished, showing no scratches or marks anywhere. In fact, the only blemish on the entirety of the knife is a small spot on the reverse side scale, possibly a small nick in the wood. Please check the pictures for this mark. Other that this, the knife itself is in great condition, boasting incredibly smooth open-and-shut action. It comes with its original box and an allen wrech. It does not come with a pocket clip or sheath. **We may actually have the sheath for this knife, but I will have to find it and confirm before listing as such.**
