The Zero Tolerance 0095BW flipper is a unique and dramatic looking folder with tons of personality. Completely coated in a Black-Wash finish, this knife looks as rugged as possible. Paired with its signature upswept-style design, featuring a harpoon-like 3.6” blade and machined titanium handle, this guy is sure to stand out amongst the crowd while proving itself as a dependable addition to your EDC lineup.

In-hand, the 0095BW feels great, accented by grooved handle-bevels for extra grip, machined finger spots, and a jimped flipper tab for choking up. Additionally, the blade swedge on the spine provides a spot for you to rest your thumb when choking up for more leverage. Overall, the design on this guy is certainly unique but comfortable.

The blade is what really makes this knife stand out, however. In a modified harpoon-style, this guy offers tons of versatility, from slicing to piercing and everything in between. Made with CPM-S35VN stainless steel, you can be sure you’ll have a knife that will last longer than you could imagine. The flipper-tab action is carried by Zero Tolerance’s KVT ball-bearing pivot, which gives it tons of ease-of-opening and smoothness during deployment. The titanium frame lock is strong but easy to use when closing up your blade.

It appears that this knife has been VERY lightly used, but carried a good amount of times throughout its life. The blade edge appear to be in like-new condition, with small signs of use here and there. The blade itself has no scratches or nicks, likely assisted by the blackwash finish. The only possible handle blemishes would be a couple of small shiny spots on the clip-side, but these also could be part of the original factory finishing. The main thing leading me to believe this knife has been carried is the pocket clip, as there is a good amount of wear around the edges and the tip. The action on this knife is as smooth as ever and the lock-up couldn’t get much stronger.
