Benchmade Fact 417 Pre-Owned 1st Prod. - Satin 3.95" CPM-S30V Spear Point Blade & Black Grooved Aluminum Handle Scales - AXIS Bar Lock Folder w/ Dual Studs | Made in USA
Certainly unique, the Benchmade 417 Fact is a long and super slender AXIS bar-lock folder. Featuring a .75" thick, 3.95" long spear point blade, this guy stands out as a minimalistic but signature design out of the Oregon-based manufacturer.
This First Production model of the 417 Fact, made in January of 2018, is numbered 467 of 1200. This knife is pre-owned, showing some wear on the pocket clip and handle. The blade, however, seems to be unused and unsharpened. The AXIS barlock action is definitely smooth, but still has a bit to be worked in. It does not quite drop-shut, but the deployment is easy, meaning it likely hasn't been operated very many times over its life. All in all, this 417 Fact is in good condition, with a noticeable scratch on the pocket clip and reverse side scale, and a more minor nick on the show side scale.
This original First Production model of the 417 Fact comes with a satin CPM-S30V stainless steel blade. The handle scales are a grooved textured aluminum, with fullers to shed a ton of weight. The pocket clip is coated black, and is in the tip-up position, being reversible for left-handed carry.
