The Benchmade Nakamura 484 is the first and original AXIS lock folder. This pre-owned knife that we have in stock is a Prototype knife from December, 2013, as lasered on the reverse side of the blade. When it comes to condition of this guy, just about everything is in near-perfect shape other than the pocket clip. The clip has a few significant scratches, as shown in the photos. Other than that, the blade seems to be completely untouched while the handle scales are also unblemished.

The action on this 484 we have is super smooth, and likely broken in by some fidgeting. This guy has some of the easiest drop-shut action I have ever seen on a pocket knife. 

This original Prototype model of the 484 Nakamura is equipped with a Bohler M390 stainless steel blade in a drop point style. The handle scales are a contoured black G-10 with horizontal grooves which make for supreme comfort in-hand. The pocket clip is a stainless steel reversible tip-up. Dual thumb studs and the signature AXIS lock make this guy a great ambidextrous-use pocket knife. 

This Nakamura comes with its original blue box packaging and black zip pouch. The outside of the box is a bit beat up.
