An exclusive version of the Benchmade Osborne, this 940-1702 model is pre-owned and lightly carried, possibly used. The defining characteristic of this Osborne is that it comes with a textured G-10 EX handle, finished with a signature dark "Forest" green. Keeping in stride with the original Osborne models, this guy has the typical purple anodized backspacers and a black coated reversible tip-up pocket clip. The satin finished 3.4" blade is made with CPM-S30V stainless steel and is in the signature modified reverse tanto style. 

This Osborne is definitely still in great shape, but has a few blemishes here and there. Mainly, the bottom of the face-side scale has a spot of discoloration, and the pocket clip is a tad bit worn around the edges. There was some lint under the pocket clip as well, showing it has been carried, but I cleaned it out as best as I could. The reverse-side scale pivot also has a small scratch. 

The blade on this knife, however, looks to have not been sharpened and likely only lightly used, if at all. There is one grind-line "scratch" running from the edge to the swedge near the tip of the face-side. In certain lights, you can see a couple of small spots on the grind, appearing to be signs of light use. However, a quick stropping would likely restore the edge to perfect condition. 

The opening action on this Osborne is smooth, with the closing still being a bit tight. This leads me to believe that it hasn't been operated very many times in its life. This knife comes with its original packaging, however it is a bit worn around the edges and on the sticker.
