This pre-owned Benchmade Proper is a limited edition model. Originally coming with blue G-10 scales, this guy we have in stock has been equipped with brass handle scales from Flytanium. The knife does indeed come with the OG G-10 scales in the box. Being limited edition, the blade and box are numbered #1273. Speaking of the blade, it is in a sheepsfoot style and made of CPM-S30V steel. It has also been given a black DLC coating. Being that it is a slipjoint folder with a nail nick, the Proper does not have a pocket clip, but does have a lanyard hole. 

Onto the condition of this pre-owned model Proper, it seems to have its original edge and if it has been used to cut at all, it was very lightly. It was difficult for me to get detailed photos of the edge in the lightbox, but will try to include something that has a bit better definition. There are no visible scratches on the blade either, but the coating does look to be a tad bit worn and could use a light oiling. I will leave that to your discretion. For being brass, the scales are in pretty great condition as well. There are some signs of a light patina, mostly some fingerprint smudges and a few darker spots on the reverse side scale. They aren't perfect, but if you're buying brass scales you likely aren't looking for perfect. The blue G-10 scales are in very like-to-brand new condition. The blade still opens and closes smoothly, having a half-stop for extra safety. The blade is a bit off-centered to the right, but doesn't look to be rubbing against the liners.
