The Begg Knives Astio is a super unique folder with tons of capabilities. Resembling many-a custom high-end knives, the Astio has an eye-catching recurved tanto blade made of CPM-D2 steel. A heavy swedge on the spine gives you a piercing but strong tip and a place to rest your thumb during use, while fullers take away some of the weight of the blade. When open, the flipper tab acts both as a finger guard and a spot to choke up with your pointer if needed. The G-10 handle scales are contoured to perfection, making this knife super comfortable to hold. 

What the Astio should be known for is its buttery-smooth ball bearing pivot action. A slight flick of the flipper tab has your 3.5" blade out and ready in the blink of an eye (or less). A frame lock mechanism ensures your knife stays locked up when needed. 

Condition-wise, this knife has got to be as close to brand new as we've had come through TTL. There are no signs of actual use, no nicks, scratches, or blemishes anywhere. It seems that the previous owner likely only flicked it open a handful of times - if that - as the action still hasn't completely loosened up yet. Don't get me wrong, it's very smooth, but it feels as though it still has that factory-tightness. Overall, I would rate this Astio at least a 9/10 when it comes to condition. The only knock is that it comes with the incorrect box, as stated up top.
