The Elementum by Civivi has quickly become a fan-favorite when it comes to knives that are well worth their value and that will give you tons of reliability without breaking the bank. Personally, the button lock flipper Elementum was one of my first beater-knives I owned, and I still carry it often to this day. Designed to be an ideal size for everyday carry, featuring easy to use one-handed action, these knives just scream EDC.

The liner lock flipper model of the Elementum is one of the most reliable and satisfying knives you can pick up at this price point. Coming equipped with caged ball bearings within the pivot, the flipper action is incredibly smooth, almost being impossible to flip only part-way open. Pick one of these guys up, and you’ll find yourself fidgeting with it just as much as you do use it. Onto the specs, the blade on this Elementum is made with high edge-retaining CPM-D2 tool steel. It has been finished satin and comes in a hollow-ground drop point style. The G-10 handle scales cover up its stainless steel liners, and are dyed blue. The pocket clip and hardware are all finished black, while the liners are grey.

If this Elementum was used, it was very rarely. The face-side scale has a tiny bit of fading near the center, but this is really only visible in certain lighting. The pocket clip has a slight bit of wear around the edges, but not enough to notice at first glance. The blade and grind itself show no clear signs of having been used more than once or twice, the edge looking clean and the bevels being unscathed. The action on this knife is smooth but still feels like it has some to be worked in. It comes with all of its original packaging including zip pouch and cardboard box.
