The Microtech Hera is one of the smoothest deploying double-action OTF pocket knives that the US-based company has to offer. With a spine-side thumb slide, the 3.2" blade comes flying out of the aluminum handle chassis in a way that you've likely never felt before. For easy all-day operating, the Hera is given upgraded internals to ensure that your knife is always ready when you need it. 

This Signature Series model of the Hera is part of their frag series. These knives come with aggressively textured square Frag patterning which allows for exceptional grip and is a nice switch up from their standard smooth aluminum handles. This tactical frag model, 703-1 TFRS, comes all blacked out with a single edged coated blade and an anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle. As with all Hera models, this guy comes with a tip-down titanium pocket clip with a ball bearing to eliminate the dreaded pants fraying. 

Condition wise, this Hera is about as close to like new as you can get. The previous owner likely carried it a handful of times, as there are two small nicks on the pocket clip near the ball bearing and one near the gap in the clip. Other than this, the blade edge looks to be completely untouched while the handle scales have no visible blemishes anywhere. This guy is firing as smooth as all out-of-the-factory Hera's, and is ready to go out of the box. If you're not afraid of a couple of insignificant scratches, this guy can still make for an awesome Signature Series display piece. Otherwise, it's beyond ready for hard everyday use, if that's more your style.
