Microtech Ultratech OTF 122-12 Pre-Owned, USED & Sharpened Flat Body DOB 10/2012 - Stonewash S35-VN One-Side Fully Serrated Double Edge Blade & Black Aluminum Handle

This Microtech Ultratech Flat Body has certainly seen better days, but still operates greatly for its age and has a ton of life ahead.It has been carried, used and sharpened. Made in October of 2012, the aluminum handle chassis is in the original squared-off design without much contouring around the edges. The handle is anodized black and has quite a few scratch marks all over. The top near the blade entrance has the most scuffs. The pocket clip is quite worn as well, and there is a pretty solid snail trail under where the clip touches the handle. 

The blade on this knife, however, is in seemingly better condition than the handle. While it has been used and sharpened, it certainly still has an edge and can be touched up easily. If requested, we can send it in to Microtech at no charge to you (this may take several weeks to get back), or we can put a fresh edge on it ourselves, again at no cost to you. The blade is made of CPM S35-VN steel, something Microtech doesn't widely use anymore, as their typical steel of choice is Bohler M390. It is a stonewashed double edge dagger blade with one side plain edge and one side fully serrated. The glass breaker on this model is the old style without the ball-tip.

As stated before, this guy still fires pretty smoothly for its age. It does take a bit of extra pressure to open and close compared to a brand new model, but we've seen some flat body's that won't open or close at all due to age, and comparatively this guy fires like butter. We will throw half a drop of Heretic OTF lube on the base of the blade before sending it out so that it feels great by the time it gets to your doorstep. The serial number on this 122-12 Ultratech is 35897. It comes with its original plain white box a Maintenance card and a white microfiber cloth. The box does have a bit of damage on the inside, as shown in the photos.
