The Pro-Tech Malibu has easily and swiftly become a fan-favorite among the knife world. With a super smooth and fidgety operating mechanism, these guys open with a flick of a tab and close-up easily with the push of a button. One of the best one-handed use folders on the market, there is a reason why the Malibu flipper is so beloved and sought-after. 

This 5101 model of the Malibu comes with a standard stonewashed blade. Made with CPM-20CV stainless steel and given a stonewash finish, the main defining characteristic of the blade is its unique wharncliffe style. The handle scales are a standard black smooth 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum. This model comes with stainless hardware and a black right-handed tip-up pocket clip. 

Overall, the condition of this Malibu is great, but not quite perfect. The only real "blemish" that I have found on this knife is on the pocket clip, as there is a slight bit of wear when looking at it in direct light. The handle itself has no scuffs or scratches. The blade itself also has no blemishes but it is POSSIBLE that this knife has been sharpened after manufacturing. I can't say for sure, because if so, the previous owner did a great job. I ran a quick paper test and the edge is indeed very sharp, but looking at it I cannot tell if it is the factory edge or not. Either way, I would rate the condition of this Pro-Tech Malibu at least a 9/10.
