The Military, or "Millie", was originally designed by Spyderco owner Sal Glesser when asked what knife he would send off with his son if he were to join the military. Large and lightweight, made with the most functional materials around, the outcome is an incredible liner lock folder that has been proven as a tried and true. 

One of the most one-hand operable 9"+ pocket knives on the market, the Military features Spydercos signature round thumb hole for easy flicking-open, while the strong liner lock can safely be used to close-up the blade with just one hand.

The blade on this C36GPE model is made with a high edge-retaining and rust resistant CPM-S30V stainless steel. It has been finished satin and is in the beloved leaf-shaped drop point style. The G-10 handle scales are black and equipped with a tip-down right-hand carry pocket clip, also black. The handle is given all the perfect contouring, ensuring it fits in your hand and stays in your hand during use. 

This Military we have in stock is pre-owned, but looks to be in very like-new condition. The only real blemishing I have found is a little bit of wear on the pocket clip and a few spots of discoloration on the handle. Mainly, there is a greenish spot on the reverse-side scale near the top by the pocket clip. I am not sure what this would be from.

The blade, however, looks to be in nearly factory condition. There are a couple of small scratches noticeable in direct light, one on the face-side near the grind, and a couple on the reverse side near the tip. However, the edge looks to be either very lightly used or completely untouched. The operation of this knife is smooth and still has some to be worked in. It comes with the original packaging, the box being a bit worn around the edges.
