Rick Hinderer is one of the most beloved and trusted knife designers on the planet. Often pairing up with Zero Tolerance, he produces a wide line of incredible pocket knives that serve well as both an everyday carry as well as a mantle display-piece. This 039 model is a large folder operating on KVT ball bearings with an easy-to-use flipper tab. Based on the original Hinderer Eklipse, it comes with a harpoon-style "Spanto" blade, which offers a point tip as well as a large cutting edge in a unique grind-style. Two-toned, this CPM-20CV blade has a satin finish with black-washed flats.

The handle on this 0393 Hinderer is a blue anodized titanium frame lock. Protected with grip-improving machined G-10 overlays, this knife just feels great in-hand. This comfort is shown even more when gripping the knife for use, as the handle scales have perfectly machined finger grooves, while the flipper tab acts as a finger guard for when you need to choke up. This model comes with a black reversible tip-up pocket clip.

This 0393 Hinderer that we have in stock has certainly been carried, shown by a good amount of clip wear as well as a bit of build-up between the titanium handle and G-10 scales. However, the blade looks to be nearly untouched. It appears that it still has its original edge and there are no noticeable blemishes on either of the blade faces or the grind. This knife comes with its original box and product information card.
